How to safely develop variants – PLE and ISO 26262

The presenters will cover the topics of tool classification & qualification for variant management tools and provide an overview of an implementation strategy for systematic reuse of engineering artifacts as well as functional safety artifacts based on feature model-based variant management for functional safety-critical system development. Robert Hellebrand is a Field Application Engineer at pure-systems GmbH. In presentations, webinars, trainings, and workshops he shares his knowledge about the systematic reuse of engineering assets with customers of various domains, helping them with their challenges in efficiently reusing engineering assets and making the transition from project-oriented development towards feature model-based product line engineering with pure::variants. Previously, Robert worked on the topic of variant management as a research assistant at the Fraunhofer Institute for Experimental Software Engineering.
