Datamining:  Using Big Data to Understand and Improve R&D Processes

Using the example of software development, the lecture shows possibilities of how development processes can be better understood and controlled with the help of data mining. For this purpose, events which are automatically generated by development tools are analyzed. The evaluation of the data then provides information about the effects of local process adjustments on the global development process.
