In a world of increasing complexity of systems, products and processes, influencing also the complexity of organizations, it is an growing challenge to cover all mandatory and necessary process requirements in the described business processes. The more divers the product portfolios, the lower the possibility for standardization of business processes, the higher the complexity of them to cover all required “use cases”.
Describing thousands of process elements (mainly activities) with “attached” (via Guidance Elements) detailed descriptions and further explanations leads to a “brain overflow” in the project teams. How can a process management system support – especially the project teams – to hide this big bunch of process information and focus mainly on the relevant one? This is what I want to share – I look forward to a lively discussion!
