Short biography
Dr.-Ing. Tobias Wartzek studied electrical engineering and information technology at RWTH Aachen. He also received his doctorate from RWTH Aachen with a thesis on contactless monitoring of the cardiorespiratory system. He began his professional career as a research assistant at the Chair of Medical Information Technology at RWTH Aachen, where he later also worked as a senior engineer and group leader. Since 2015 he has worked at FORVIA HELLA in Lippstadt. There he held various management positions, including System Manager, Head of Platform Development, Global Head of Development for Lighting Electronics, Global Head of Functional Safety Management and currently Director of Engineering Excellence within the Business Group Electronics.
