Automotive SPICE® is the well-established de-facto standard for system development in the automotive industry. The first official version has been published in 2007 and the model was continuously enhanced and extended over time. We now see the latest version of the assessment and reference model Automotive SPICE® 4.0. The latest version brings some significant changes, such as completely new processes and changed concepts. This presentation will provide an overview of the most significant changes and a brief outlook on the impact on modelling processes.
Volker Lehmann studied Computer Science and German Sign Language at the University of Hamburg, Germany. In 1999 Volker Lehmann established requirements management in a start-up software development company before he moved into consulting business in 2001. First as consultant for test services and starting from 2003 with focus on process management at Mercedes Benz Technology Group. From 2005 to 2012 he was Principal Consultant and Director Delivery at SynSpace. In 2012 he moved to Neusoft as Head of Quality. Then in 2017 he joined Method Park as Principal Consultant and Director Hamburg.
In addition, Volker Lehmann is member of the intacs™ Advisory Board (international assessor certification scheme for SPICE assessors) and he leads the working groups for developing the syllabus and training material for assessor education. Volker Lehmann is intacs™ certified Principal Assessor and Instructor and one of the Automotive SPICE® trainers for the VDA QMC. He supported numerous OEMs and suppliers all over the world in assessing and establishing processes.
