Chinese OEM’s have transformed over the past nearly 20 years. Ray has been leading automotive companies there and he will talk about this experience in this presentation. They have gone from localization and an adaptive product development process to cutting edge black technology along with higher feature content than comparable global OEM products. Today’s Chinese automotive market requires nearly constant upgrading and the notion of three to six year product cycles has been left downstream with the carp who did not make it over. Top selling vehicles routinely shift based on the newest trends in a world where screen size has replaced horsepower.
