Streamlined Process Architecture for Efficiency and Compliance

This presentation introduces the Valeo Power Process House, a proof-of-concept initiative aimed at revolutionizing process management within Valeo Power. It addresses the challenges of traditional process management, such as document overload, inconsistency, template chaos, and role ambiguity, which hinder efficiency and collaboration. The Process House offers a solution by leveraging a state-of-the-art process management tool called “Stages.” This tool provides standardized templates, automated workflows, and integrated version control, ensuring compliance with ASPICE Level 3. The presentation details the architecture of the Power Process House, highlighting its ability to manage a wide range of products, a globally distributed team, and complex regulations. It emphasizes a standardized and consistent structure for all processes, linking process elements to work products, roles, guidelines, and training materials. The “Stages” tool allows for tailoring processes to specific platforms and products, maintaining a strong connection with the Power Standard Process through modules. This adaptability is crucial for meeting the diverse needs of each product development process. Furthermore, the presentation showcases the key elements of the platform, including workspaces that consolidate information, promote reuse of standardized elements, and offer flexible descriptions. It also demonstrates how project instantiation within the Process House works, connecting platform processes with project-specific requirements and facilitating compliance mapping. Finally, the presentation provides real-world examples and reports generated within the Process House, demonstrating its practical application and benefits for improved process management at Valeo Power.
