    Wednesday 03/10/21 from 10:00 am - 10:30 am Interest and focus on Automotive SPICE® increase steadily in the automotive industry. To really improve the projects and ensure a sufficient level of process capability, it is important to carefully evaluate and differentiate between what Automotive SPICE®is about and what not. When to orientate on Automotive SPICE® and when to better orientate on, e.g., the business cases and project circumstances? In the case of Automotive SPICE® progress tracking: how to consider the current project phase – phase adequate evaluation criteria? The entire organization contributes to master this challenge, and to reach a certain Automotive SPICE® capability level is a daily adventure, especially in the new normal.

    Sarah Stettin has been working at Schaeffler Technologies since 2005, initially in project management for engine systems, later in the environment of PMT - Processes, Methods, Tools - for mechatronic product development.     Since 2020, Tobias Sommerfeld is in charge of Processes, Methods, Tools in Mechatronics at Schaeffler. He has many years of experience in mechatronic product development in the automotive industry from various development, support and management roles. For the last five years, he has been enthusiastically focused on the development and implementation of innovative and efficient PMT (processes, methods, tools) for mechatronic product development. He is intacs™ Certified Competent Assessor Automotive SPICE®.
