    Does Agile Working Require Processes?

    Wednesday 03/11/20 from 3:30 pm - 4:00 pm

Agility is attracting hype nowadays. But there's much more to it than a buzzword associated with speed. Which opportunities and risks does an agile transformation bring and is everything that has been tried and tested wrong? How many processes does agile work require, and when are processes more likely to hinder agility? Mainly large companies face particular challenges if they want to integrate agile methods into their process world. Over the past decades, Schaeffler has established processes that ensure compliance and meet internal as well as external requirements. However, complexity and speed of change require Schaeffler to be flexible and quickly adapt to new situations. Therefore, Schaeffler specializes in agile transformation. Adaptive and scalable process frameworks enable us to master the challenges of tomorrow. The development of a work environment characterized by empowerment, trust, and appreciation is essential to ensure an organization's innovative capability. One question we are focusing on in particular: Does agile working require processes? And how do we have to adapt our current process world to avoid restricting agility?
